BENEFIT signs service agreement with AMAN to strengthen financial crime compliance

The agreement being signed by Mr. Abdulwahed AlJanahi, Chief Executive of BENEFIT, and Dickon Johnstone, Group Chief Executive Officer of AMAN at BENEFIT’s headquarters, in the presence of senior officials and representatives from both organizations.

Manama, August 12, 2026 – BENEFIT, a Bahrain-based fintech firm has signed a service agreement with AMAN to support its due diligence and financial crime prevention activities.

The agreement integrates AMAN’s technology, powered by financial crime management company Themis, into BENEFIT’s ecosystem to effectively manage anti-money laundering and compliance requirements.

The system consolidates onboarding, due diligence, screening, and risk assessment processes into a single interface. This integration provides greater visibility for case assessments and supports decision-making across compliance and risk management functions for the transaction network.

Abdulwahed AlJanahi, Chief Executive of BENEFIT, and Dickon Johnstone, Group Chief Executive Officer of AMAN, signed the agreement at BENEFIT’s headquarters in Bahrain.

“Together, we will enhance financial crime capabilities and support Bahrain’s continued alignment with local and international standards,” said Dickon Johnstone, Group Chief Executive Officer of AMAN.

Abdulwahed AlJanahi, Chief Executive of BENEFIT says the agreement with AMAN is part of its continued efforts to strengthen the tools and systems that support its commitment to the highest standards of governance and compliance. “As financial crime risks continue to evolve, organizations require more sophisticated solutions that can bring information together, analyze it effectively and support timely oversight,” says AlJanahi.

This collaboration, according to him, responds to the growing need for integrated technology capable of managing data, assessments and regulatory processes within a single framework. “It will streamline key onboarding and due diligence activities and improve the operational efficiency while preserving the rigor required in regulatory review and risk evaluation,” adds AlJanahi.

This agreement follows recent strategic moves by BENEFIT to expand its digital financial infrastructure across the Kingdom. On July 27, 2026, the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) to co-develop advanced digital financial solutions.

As Johnstone notes, “this partnership reflects our commitment to delivering practical and sustainable solutions that help financial institutions strengthen governance, oversight and organizational readiness. It also supports Bahrain’s position as an advanced financial hub that continues to adopt leading practices in compliance, risk management and financial crime prevention.”
