Network International launches unified payment integration for regional GCC merchants

Network International - the unified platform offers locally optimised payment methods to preserve domestic transaction conversion rates

Dubai, Sept. 4, 2026: Digital commerce enabler Network International has launched a regional acquiring service that allows businesses to accept payments across Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets through a single integration.

The platform is designed to eliminate the operational hurdle of managing fragmented payment gateways, local acquiring contracts, and disparate settlement reconciliations in each country. By deploying a consolidated setup, enterprise merchants in retail, hospitality, e-commerce, and logistics can expand into neighbouring Gulf markets without rebuilding local payment tech stacks.

The rollout comes as cross-border digital transactions, regional tourism, and retail trade continue to accelerate across the GCC, heightening merchant demand for centralised settlement and unified operational reporting. Traditionally, regional expansion required businesses to establish domestic banking and acquiring relationships within each territory, increasing deployment times and operational overhead.

Murat Cagri Suzer, group chief executive officer at Network International, noted that regional commerce has scaled faster than underlying payment architecture.

“At Network International, we believe merchants should be able to expand across the region as easily as they operate within their home market,” Suzer said. “Through a single integration, merchants can access multiple GCC markets, unlock new revenue opportunities, and reduce the operational complexity that often accompanies regional expansion.”

Beyond operational consolidation, the unified platform offers locally optimised payment methods to preserve domestic transaction conversion rates as businesses scale across borders.

Suzer added that establishing technical linkages across sovereign markets forms part of a broader push to connect the regional payments ecosystem and support merchant cross-border scale.
